WEB Information Access Menu
Updated by NAHIM on January 16, 2004
In recent years more public housing information has become available on-line from HUD and
other organizations. The only problem many of us have is quickly finding the information
we are looking for, because it is located in a variety of different Web sites, and we have
to locate the Web address to use. Listed below are a variety of topics that we hope will
make it easy for you to find the desired information.
1. Information about individual PHAs and communities:
Basic name & Address data - http://www.hud.gov/offices/pih/pha/contacts
Detailed Data about PHA - https://pic.hud.gov/pic/haprofiles/haprofilelist.asp
Includes size (# of units), general performance
rating, location (address and congressional district),
and contacts (Board chairperson, Executive
Director, Mayor) and phone numbers
Income limit data for your community - http://www.huduser.org/datasets/il.html
Fair market rents for your community - http://www.huduser.org/datasets/fmr.html
2. HUD Regulatory Information Resources.
Recent Federal Register listings http://webapps1.hud.gov/icbts
Federal Register notices from past 2 weeks - http://www.hudclips.org/cgi/index.cgi
This option often brings up entries
from the Dept of Agriculture and other federal agencies as well as HUD.
PIH Notices from 2003 http://www.hudclips.org/cgi/index.cgi
HUD Forms - http://www.hudclips.org/sub_nonhud/html/forms.htmi
3. HUD Technical Requirements and Resources
HUD's PIH Information Center http://www.hud.gov/offices/pih/systems/pic
To retrieve information from the
PIC Information Center you will need to enter
a user name and password.
PIC Help Newsbrief-Each month http://www.hud.gov/offices/pih/systems/pic
(then select from right column)
HUD's Master List of Error Codes for the 50058 form. This
document is available in two forms. The
original HUD document in PDF format is
available as
http://www.hud.gov/offices/pih/systems/pic/50058/50058errorcodes_03.pdf
Because coverting a PDF document is occasionally a task to
be avoided. NAHIM has converted the
listing into a straight
text form which you can view and download at:
